Cross-stitch “stitches together” donations from the many ELS Women’s Mission Societies and attempts to accomplish significant blessings among our mission affiliates worldwide. This year’s projects include:
The money is given as “humanitarian aid” to the orphanages is essential for the existence of the Indian church. They just received a 5-year registration renewal so we can send money to them.
In India, Cross-stitch supports college and vocational education for older orphans who will soon leave the orphanages. In some cases, the women gain degrees and teach in our schools.
Jungle school food program
These funds are used to buy food for the students. Pastor Heyn reported that the jungle village was able to buy solar panels for computers, etc. with government funding.
Divine Mercy (Home Mission)
Divine Mercy in Weatherford, TX plans to launch a Power-Hour preschool program in the fall to reach families in the community.
Living Waters (Home Mission)
The Board for Home Outreach plans to replace Missionary Peter Heyn’s laptop at the mission in San Angelo, TX.
In 2022–23 many lives will be blessed as Cross-stitch proposes, with your help, to raise:
